This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany.
When you access the website, technical information is automatically processed in server log files. This information may include your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested page or file, the referring website, the browser and operating system used, the access status and the amount of data transferred.
This processing is necessary to provide the website, ensure its technical stability and protect it against misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. 3. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide, including your email address and the content of your message, in order to respond to your enquiry.
Where your enquiry concerns a contract, membership or steps prior to entering into a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We delete correspondence when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected, unless statutory retention obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require longer storage.
4. Newsletter
You may subscribe to our newsletter in order to receive information about exhibitions, events and the activities of You Might Also Like e.V. When you use the subscription form on this website, the email address you provide is first transmitted to us and then manually added to our Mailchimp mailing list.
The legal basis for sending the newsletter is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by using the unsubscribe link contained in every newsletter or by emailing mail@youmightalsolike.art. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected.
We use Mailchimp to manage our mailing list and send the newsletter. Mailchimp is operated by The Rocket Science Group LLC, doing business as Mailchimp, a company based in the United States and part of Intuit Inc. Mailchimp processes subscriber data, delivery data and information relating to newsletter campaigns on our behalf.
Mailchimp newsletters may contain tracking pixels and tracked links. These technologies can record whether and when a newsletter was opened and which links were selected. The information processed may include the time of interaction, the IP address and technical information about the device, browser or email program used. We use this information to assess the reach of the newsletter and improve its content.
Your email address is stored for as long as you remain subscribed to the newsletter. After you unsubscribe, your address may be retained on a suppression list to ensure that no further newsletters are sent to you. Limited information relating to your consent may also be retained where necessary to demonstrate that consent was obtained.
Mailchimp may process personal data in the United States. Mailchimp states that it participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Its Data Processing Addendum also incorporates the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
Further information is available in the Mailchimp Privacy Statement and the Mailchimp Data Processing Addendum.
